Your First Steps

Start by booking a consultation with your GP or medical specialist to obtain a personalised Patient Care Plan. This referral is required to access DVA-funded chiropractic care.

Ask your GP to complete an assessment and provide a referral for chiropractic care under a Patient Care Plan. Standard referrals are valid for up to 12 visits. If you are covered under the At-Risk Client Framework, your referral may instead be valid for 6 or 12 months, depending on your circumstances.

Ask your GP or specialist to provide a referral directly to Dr Nicholas Armitage for chiropractic care.

Email your referral letter.

Ask your GP’s office to email your referral letter or fax to (07) 3899 5899.
